What happens in your Consultation? All IPL Treatments start with a consultation to determine if you are a good candidate and to ensure a safe treatment. During the consultation we review your medical history, determine your skin-type based on a Fitzpatrick Scale and if everything looks good, we finish with a pulse test. 24 hours later you can begin your treatments and be on your way to looking and feeling amazing!

A consultation must be booked if you have not had Hair Reduction done at Pure Day Spa before.
We wear gloves during all treatments a side from massage, which can be done by request. Although not BC law yet, some provinces and US States already enforce this practice. In addition to good hand washing practices it adds safety for ourselves and clients. Using new gloves every treatment, we prevent the spread of pathogens including germs, viruses or blood born pathogens we might be in contact with when waxing or performing extractions. Our nitrile gloves are latex free and fit like a second skin.
